Youke Haoma held the "Millennium Forest" tree planting activity

On July 28th, Shandong Yokohama Rubber Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., which manufactures conveyor belts, held the fifth "YOKOHAMA Millennium Forest" event.

This tree planting activity follows the concept of “Building a Native Forest” proposed by Professor Miyawaki (Professor of Plant Ecology/Yokohama National University). On the day of the event, Shanghai Yuke Haoma Rubber Products Co., Ltd. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Shandong Yokohama Rubber Industry Co., Ltd. General Manager Zhang Yuxi, factory staff and workers and family members planted 10 tree species, 1,316 seedlings in the plant area. The planting area is 300 square meters, and most of the planted seedlings are collected and cultivated by the staff of Youke Haoma.

Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has launched the "YOKOHAMA Millennium Forest" campaign since 2007, and plans to plant 500,000 trees at all production sites in Japan and abroad in 2017. As of the end of this activity, more than 410,000 trees have been planted at home and abroad, including nearly 50,000 trees planted in China.
